While looking for the Latin phrase Qui tacet, consentit
Silence gives consent. I came across the one above. Both of these phrases are political to me, the latter speaking to the high numbers who avoid the polls on election day and the former those who’ve either for gotten or perhaps out of ignorance, never knew.
The welfare of the people is sacrificed for the greed of the few and the people, for the most part, remain silent about it thus giving consent to those: the power elite who out of self-interest could not care less for the people.
I know some people that will only accuse the power elite for their actions and ignore the actions of those being silent.

After an absence and some lurking I decided to make one more appearance if only to promote the new direction being offered me and my acceptance of it.
My concerns for society have not, up till now, even begun to be filled, however all that will change with my moving to Willow Bunch Saskatchewan to assist in a project of major proportions.
